The Gourmet Pea, a bistronomic gem on pillars
The Gourmet Pea, a bistronomic gem on pillars
This beautiful house with its red façade is nestled a stone’s throw away from Sciotot beach and a cable length away from La Hague, and offers a cuisine that highlights local seasonal produce with an emphasis on the sea.
After many culinary experiences in the south of France, the chef Adrien Fautrel, who comes from La Hague, decided to put down his kitchen utensils with his partner Fanny Talgorn in the region that he holds close to his heart. The couple, with him in the kitchen and her in the dining room, works together brilliantly to create modern cooking that celebrates local produce to the rhythm of the seasons. This restaurant in la Manche department depends on local producers and Adrien’s attachment to human values.
The best of bistronomic cooking
The chef advocates the delicate art of bistronomy. The lunch menu changes every week in relation to his inspiration and the seasons, while the evening menu changes every month. This slate written menu enables him to transcend fresh products without distorting them. It will come of no surprise to find out that sea food is given prominence here on the weekly menus. Meat lovers don’t have to feel left out, as the meat is delicately cooked here. In the dining room Fanny can recommend the wine that will go with the dish that you choose and bring out its flavour. You can find all of this in an elegant dining room with contemporary decoration. Discover a real restaurant of character in the Cotentin region.
